Wednesday was Kansas Day, and I was at the newly renovated Capitol in Topeka for the dedication. There must have been at least a thousand people in and out that day. We were greeted by characters dressed in period clothing. The high school orchestra played beautiful music intertwined with speakers who had a part in the renovation. Whitney Phipps, a vocal artist from D.C., graced us with the entire rendition of God Bless America and the National Anthem.
The highlight was when Governor Brownback dedicated the capitol to “The Glory of God and the people of Kansas.” It was a kyrois moment in time and honored our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
For those of you in the Kansas City area, you’ll be able to hear from Governor Brownback at the Awakening Freedom Tour in Lenexa, Kansas on February 8th. He will share the history and destiny of Kansas to inspire and motivate us to be the tip of the spear from the heart of the nation. Come to this FREE event.
