The primary is over and we cannot go back, but must continue to press in. I have said this many times, but I am aware that many in the church still don’t understand this basic principle.
The Lord has three institutions. One is the church, another is the family, and another is Government.
The church is to blame for the problem in the Government area because somehow we believed a lie that started around 1919. It is an agenda from people like Karl Marx and Antonio Gramsci (an Italian philosopher.)
They said the only way to make America a socialist country is to erode it from within. They focused on destroying the Judeo Christian Values and the Family Structure. Would you say they’ve reached their goals?
One of the ways they have reached these goals to destroy America from within was to convince the church to stay out of politics. Jesus constantly talked to the politicians of His day. God set up Government to protect His people.
Question: “What does the Bible say about government?”
Answer: The Bible speaks very clearly about the relationship between the believer and the government. We are to obey governmental authorities, and the government is to treat us justly and fairly. Even when the government does not live up to its role, we are still to live up to ours. Finally, when the government asks us to do something that is in direct disobedience to God’s Word, we are to disobey the government in faithful confidence of the Lord’s power to protect us.
Whether the Bible uses the terms “master,” “ruler,” “government,” or any other name for an established authority, the instruction is always the same – obey. We must remember that God created the authorities ruling over us just as He created us. As Paul wrote to the Romans, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves” (Romans 13:1-2). Peter wrote, “Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right” (1 Peter 2:13-14). Both Peter and Paul also remind slaves repeatedly to be obedient to their masters for the same reasons (Ephesians 6:5-8; Colossians 3:22-25; 1 Timothy 6:1-2; 1 Peter 2:18-20; Titus 2:9-11). Press in and pray for the primary in Kansas.
Last night my husband and I joined hands and prayed for the candidates and their families in Kansas. We prayed that the believers that the Lord wants would win and that Kansas would once again return to God fearing people who understand the constitution.
I believe that can only happen if God’s people vote and take seriously their responsibility to be informed. Today we must pray to bind the spirit of LIES and loose the spirit of TRUTH. We pray the spirit will bind lies, deception, dishonesty and distortion and bind any occult spirits that may be in operation.
We lose TRUTH- HONESTY and INTEGRITY and Ethical behavior.
Matthew 18:18 says, “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.
Believers it’s up to you, the future of Kansas and our nation rests in your hands. In this day and age I believe there can be no reason to be an informed voter and no reason to get out and vote tomorrow, Tuesday, August 5th.
I can’t imagine there would be any of you who listen to Bott Radio, who would not vote in the upcoming primary, which is Tuesday, August 5th.
Voting is a privilege that we in America enjoy. Many times our legislators and leaders only need to win the primary.
Romans 13:1 says, “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God and authorities that exist are appointed by God.” They are ministers of God for your good.”
If we have done our due diligence and researched who to vote for and they win. With a pen and a phone, we have lost many freedoms. We must send warriors to Topeka and Washington and I believe God will hold us accountable for who we vote for.
Our religious rights are being taken away on a daily basis. We need Joshua and Caleb legislators that will not bend their knee to ungodly rulers. We will not go down without a fight. Please go out and vote Tuesday, August 5th.
The deadline to register to vote in the primary is next Tuesday, July 15th .
This Sunday is the last Sunday that registration can take place in your church.
I encourage you to take action and make a decision …are you going to be a spectator or participant.? It’s time for us to “get involved” and speak up for God’s truth, Biblical principles and witness to friends, relatives, neighbors, It’s a privilege and right for citizens vote.
Find that candidate that represents your values and work for them.
For the sake of history we should not let the Pilgrims down. They came to America “for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith”! They died for this country.
As a believer we know that God cannot be separated from government because He carries government on His shoulders!”
Get the forms for registration and the application for advanced ballot and make sure every believer you know is going to vote in this primary on August 5th in Kansas.
