The Awakening Freedom Tour débuted in Kansas City and now is scheduled in Wichita on March 29th. On Saturday morning from 9 until noon you are invited to come and hear Neil Mammen, apologist, International Speaker and author of 40 Days Toward a More Godly Nation. Governor Sam Brownback will be sharing about the Spiritual History of Kansas and just how we can step on the shoulders of those who have gone before, but most importantly, what we can leave to the next generation.
I will be speaking on the family and how it is the spiritual center of the nation. Encouraging parents to take back the role of disciple making of their own children, teaching them as we lay down, rise up and walk by the way. I’ll be sharing examples of national heros who have gone before and laid down their lives for us to have the freedom we do.
Are you ready for a Spiritual Awakening in Kansas? Well, I hope so, because you will hear just why we believe we are already in one. Register on our home page. We hope to see you all there .
Over 700 people attended the Awakening Freedom Tour two days ago in Lenexa, Kansas. The outcome is yet to be seen. We were not after an event but desire to create a permanent change in the way we approach the problems in our culture. What was the take away? Hundreds swarmed the book table to buy Neil Mammen’s book, 40 Days Towards A More Godly Nation, to begin a 6 week study to change our nation.
Every Culture Impact book we had from the Family Research Council sold immediately. A Culture Impact book is a matrix to develop a team in each church in order to impact the culture.
Neil Mammen apologist, engineer, lay preacher challenged us to understand rights vs. goods…. Our rights are given to us by our creator. Goods are something one works for. If someone does not have healthcare who should take care of them? Us…we….the Body of Christ, and we will do a good job.
As the National Day of Prayer Coordinator for Kansas and the Governor Prayer Team Leader I know that Prayer Is Main Business of the Church. This is why John Wesley said, “God does nothing but by prayer, and everything with it.” S.D. Gordon said that “the greatest thing anyone can do for God and for man is to pray.
You can do more than pray after you have prayed, but you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed.
Prayer is striking the winning blow…service is gathering up the results.”
- Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane, he traveled in prayer, sweating drops of blood…then He got up off His knees, went to the cross and died for us. He expects no less from us.
- Nehemiah heard what was happening to his people the Jews, he wept, prayed, fasted. Then he got up, received authority and rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem in 52 days.
It takes intentional decisions to take this nation back.
Come to the Awakening Freedom Tour Sat. Feb 8th to learn how.
