The statewide Holy Convocation is just over two weeks away. You will not want to miss this historic event. Pastors, believers, legislator are coming to declare Kansas a stateof Christ. Bishop Murunga of Kenya has asked for those who are near a river or stream to bring that water for a blessing. We want Jesus to be greatly known, undeniably revealed, vastly followed andlavishly honored in Kansas. After the convocation there will be a dinner.
We invite you to go to www.cultureshield.com to register for the dinner. There is no charge, only a donation. From the far corners of our state, north, south, east and west we will gather in the Name of Jesus to proclaim Jesus is Lord over Kansas. There will be a dedication of the soil and a blessing of the land. Kansas is the heart of the nation. We must get this right. May the light of the Lord shine bright on Kansas and spill over the nation. Bring your lawn chairs and join the worship of our King.
The Body of Christ is engaged in praying and lifting up the Supreme Court to uphold the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman. What I see in America is a generation that is waiting until they are older to get married. That in itself is not a concern, but the reason behind it might be. What is our generation modeling for our children and grandchildren in regard to a covenant relationship? Has marriage been diluted because we are living in a culture of broken covenants? We say we want to protect marriage. We say, it’s been this way for thousands of years, and yet what are we modeling, and why is the next generation so afraid of hurt, pain and separation? As we pray for the legal protection of marriage between one man and one woman, let’s also pray that we, believers in Jesus Christ, will not break covenant in our marriages before the Lord. Let us model love, forgiveness, humility, submission, honoring, respecting our spouses. Prayer changes things, Lord begin with us.
When we are traveling and away from home, I still go to weather.com to check on the weather. When the storms of life come, I have another site I visit…it’s called the THRONE ROOM. I’ve lived enough of life to know that He is always there, waiting, watching, longing for our time and attention. It’s because He loves us and has so much He wants to teach us and give us. Power…overcoming power is ours for the asking.
Today in our reading of scripture in Hebrews is talked about a time when Jesus was in the midst of a crisis.
It says, “In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers, and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety. Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.” Hebrews 5:7-8
The National Day of Prayer is May 7th and it is a time for us, united in Kansas to stand together and cry out to the Lord. Teach us O Lord to obey.

The trees are budding, flowers are beginning to peek through the ground and the lilacs smell amazing. New life, new birth, God’s creation is coming alive again.
How about His people? Are we waking up, stretching, thanking Him for this beauty that He has provided? Don’t take it for granted. Without rain the beauty will fade, and without pruning, the new growth looks dead on the ends. Where are we in Kansas Spiritually? Are we in need of pruning? Are we in need of rain?
Thank the Lord our parched soil is being refreshed. What about our parched souls? Do you ever feel that you are in a dry and thirsty land? The Lord says, “If you draw near to Me, I will draw near to you.”Comfort is found in the bosom of the Lord. He longs for us to come to Him for comfort. He wants to bring us beauty. He wants what is best for us and is always about blessing us. All you who are weary and heavy laden, will find rest. Blessings to you all!
On Sunday night, in the city of Wichita, a spiritually historic moment in time took place. At the Reconciliation Service, pastors repented and asked forgiveness for all spiritual, mental, and emotional wounds caused by them. They said, “please forgive us for not leading by example, being ‘men pleasers’ rather than pleasers of God, for not equipping you adequately to fulfill your call and for building our own kingdom. We seek your forgiveness for times we have fallen into immorality, greed, and pride. Will you forgive and release us from these sins and from bondage they have placed us in?” Then a member of the congregation, representing all of us, asked forgiveness for times we withheld tithes and offerings, gossiped about pastors and their families, times we had not stood up for you, times we opposed your ideas without cause and for not praying for you as we should. Time will not allow me to convey the depth of what I witnessed on Sunday evening. God’s grace fell and freedom reigns.
Watch this! This little gets it right. Please pray for Kansas
to repel Common Core and
STOP teaching to pass the state tests.
On Sunday, the state of Kansas watched as our two top basketball teams face off in the NCAA tournament. Families might have been split, many in the state were split on who we wanted to win. However, in the end, whoever won, would represent the great state of Kansas. The disciples came to Jesus and said, “Lord, those other guys, they’re healing in your name!!!….Jesus said, “If they are not against us, they are on our side.” Now, we will unify around WSU….what about the church? Are we ready for unity? On Palm Sunday night in the city of Wichita, Pastors are coming together for a Reconciliation Service. There will be repentance, Pastor to Pastor, Pastor to congregation, Congregation to Pastor. The goal is unity. Pray for Wichita, that we might be one spiritually and if this resonates with you, if you’ve had church splits, if there’s been gossip, hurt feelings, bitterness with other believers it’s time to put it under the blood. Forgiveness is freeing.
RECONCILIATION SERVICE IN WICHITA
March 29th – 6 p.m. Church At the Cross – 2901 W. Taft St Wichita, Ks.
“Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” Psalm 133:1
Wichita means “scattered huts or houses.” True spiritual unity flows from the presence of the Holy Spirit in the lives of our Lord’s people. John 17:20,23 This city has had division and divisiveness in its roots throughout its history. Several churches that have been regularly meeting together for unity’s sake are going to have a “Reconciliation and Unity Service.”
Our city has been spiritually dysfunctional in many ways; church splits, church disablements, wounded pastors, wounded leaders and wounded sheep scattered and abandon, a divisive spirit, leviathan twisting and perverting the truth. Therefore the spiritual growth of our city has been stifled. We want to correct and heal this situation. We feel the Lord has called us to have a service to release healing and forgiveness and bring unity to Wichita. We want to obey and apply the Word of God to affect and Change the spiritual atmosphere of Wichita.
“He will forgive our sin as we forgive others— if you forgive men their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you do not forgive men their trespasses neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matt. 6:12,14,15
The service will include:
1. A pastor representing all pastors will repent to the sheep (congregation) for wounds caused by previous pastors or us and ask for forgiveness.
2. A person representing the sheep will repent to the pastors and ask forgiveness for wounding and casting out pastors from their flocks.
3. We will have pastor representing leaders asking forgiveness of other pastors and leaders for bad mouthing, a jealous spirit causing division, wanting authority that wasn’t theirs, thereby hurting the body of Christ.
4. Sheep repent to sheep for spreading gossip, backbiting, and causing splits in the body of Christ. We will then ask love to flow from and to all churches that believe Jesus Christ is Lord and the only way to our Father in heaven.
5. We will pray for sheep that have been wounded and that are either hiding in large churches or not going to church at all to be healed, restored in fellowship, planted and bringing forth the fruit, gifts, purposes and plans of the Lord in their lives and in the body of Christ. We will worship, proclaim unity over our city and take communion together.
Please RSVP so we will know how many are coming.
(City Church 618.7700) If you can’t come will you please consider having your own repentance, forgiveness, reconciliation and unity service?
It’s time for all believers to hit their knees in prayer and pick up their cell phones and call the number of those on the education committee, led by Rep. Ron Highland. On Friday, that committee will decide the fate of Common Core in Kansas and the future of our children. Public Schools in Kansas don’t need to be put into a cookie press to turn out little worker bees.
We want good solid curriculum put together by Kansans. Common Core is destructive in so many ways.
Have you checked out the way they want you to do math?
It’s time to pray, and call. Activate your prayer lines, and ask the Lord to stop Kansas from Common Core. HB 2292 is a good bill, and endorsed with its strong constitutionality by our own Secretary of State Kris Kobach. You can call your local representative and tell them HB 2292 needs to pass to save Kansas children.
Our children are our most precious asset.
