Rescue the Weak and Needy

Is it possible that the Lord, who happens to be a jealous God, wants us to depend on Him?  What does that look like?  Well for starters, we might have a few things out of order.

Psalm 82:3-4,”Vindicate the weak and fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and destitute.  Rescue the weak and needy and deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”

If the Government runs out of money, who feeds the poor?  Many churches in Kansas are already doing that but we can do more. How can we do a better job?  Well, a ministerial alliance in Pratt have joined forces to do just that. The Hope Center of Pratt, Kansas has 10 agencies and ministries ready to help those in need by the end of the year with many more soon to join.  At 314 S. Main St. in Pratt you’ll soon be able to find help.

What do we do if the government shuts down?   What do Kansans do?  We pray.  We ask the Lord to do whatever it takes to bring this nation to their knees.

Let’s let the Hope Center in Pratt help motivate us to begin thinking what we each can do in our own communities.   It’s great to see the body of Christ working together to step in and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
