As we prepare for 2014 it’s time to set the standard HIGH.  Don’t be afraid of setting goals.  Standards are important.

Some read through the Bible in a year, some make sure their readying good literature in addition to the Bible, still others decide to turn off the television and study.

I have mentioned some challenging, informative and fascinating books earlier this year.  Let’s recap.  America the Beautiful by Dr Ben Carson, 40 Days Toward a More Godly Nation by Neil Mammen,  (the speaker that will be going on the Awakening Freedom Tour with Gov. Brownback and myself on Feb. 8th in K.C.,) and Kisses from Katie, a fascinating, 23 year old young woman who lives in Uganda and has adopted 14 girls.

Inspiration is important. Listening to the Lord is critical.  Finding your destiny is fulfilling.

I’m excited about 2014 and just what the Lord has in mind for Kansas and our nation.  Don’t give up…you’re part of the solution.

Don’t forget He said, you are the light of the world, a city set on a hill.

Matthew 5:14-16

14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
