A Living Nativity: Christ Is Born

A Living Nativity

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 4, 5, & 6th you can travel 3 miles east of Peabody, Kansas to see a live Biblical play that goes back to Genesis and takes you through Jesus birth and years here on earth. There are live animals and the actors do a magnificent job at re-telling His story.  I attended last year and can’t wait to take my grandchildren this year.   Go to http://www.christisborn.org/ for more information.

WARRIOR HORSE ARISE

The Gates of Hell web

At the Holy Convocation there was a new spirit released in Kansas. Pastor Bobby said, “you were summoned to come to the land of Kansas in the middle of a prairie to hear the voice of courage.” It’s time to take back the land.  That doesn’t happen with a bunch of sheep. The believers that were there have prayed, repented, fasted, prepared and now it’s time to come forth as the Warrior Horse.  A Warrior Horse is ready for battle.

Proverbs 21:31, “The horse is prepared in the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.

”Zechariah 10:3, “My anger is kindled against the shepherds …the Lord of hosts has visited His flock, in the house of Judah, and will make them like His Royal Horse in battle.”

We need a new attitude, new stamina, new vision. Let the warrior horse arise in Kansas to take back the ground the enemy has stolen. We represent the Kingdom of God, He will deal with the systems that exist. We must take our rightful place as victorious warriors.

Rekindle your first love….Kansas Forward HO….

War Horses are tested vessels, they have been tried by fire, they don’t break rank,

they know their Masters voice and respond to the slightest touch.

They do not cower to the spirit of death, or the ungodly torrent of wicked men.

These are the ones, the fierce ones who have been in theMasters school, who have experienced his perfect love and healing touch so that the enemy can’t tug on an old wound.

As we have crossed over into a new era, and entered the era of piercing the world’s structures, we will encountermuch warfare, but greater is He that is in us.

This is our hour to arise, shine and release the glory of the Kingdom every place our foot treads. The war horses of the Lord are moving in maturity over the earth.

When Jesus Prayed

When we are traveling and away from home, I still go to weather.com to check on the weather.  When the storms of life come, I have another site I visit…it’s called the THRONE ROOM.  I’ve lived enough of life to know that He is always there, waiting, watching, longing for our time and attention.  It’s because He loves us and has so much He wants to teach us and give us.  Power…overcoming power is ours for the asking.

Today in our reading of scripture in Hebrews is talked about a time when Jesus was in the midst of a crisis.

It says, “In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers, and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety.  Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.” Hebrews 5:7-8

The National Day of Prayer is May 7th and it is a time for us, united in Kansas to stand together and cry out to the Lord.  Teach us O Lord to obey.

Statewide Holy Convocation

In order to truly see a change in a state, there are many things that have to happen.  In Kansas,  there have been decades of prayer warriors who have travailed over our historic land.  Now, we are at a moment in time when, we the present generation need to come together as one to declare Jesus as Lord over Kansas.

Our Goal:

We want Jesus to be greatly known, undeniably revealed, vastly followed and lavishly honored in Kansas.

We want you to save the date of May 30th for the Statewide Holy Convocation of Kansas.  It’s time for our generation to put the stake in the ground and dedicate Kansas to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. May 30th will be a historic day in Kansas. You’ll find more information at cultureshield.com.  We are asking a believer from each county to come and bring one gallon of soil to combine in a symbol of unity for believers across Kansas.  We want Kansans to care about what happens in our state.

It’s Official, Prayer Works

By a Joint Resolution of the 100th Congress on January 25,1988, a NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER was declared to be the first Thursday of each May. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, that the joint resolution entitled Joint Resolution to provide for setting aside an appropriate day as a National Day of Prayer, approved April 17, 1952 (Public Law 82-324;66 Stat. 64), is amended by striking a suitable day each year, other than a Sunday and inserting in lieu there of the first Thursday in May in each year.

It’s Official…what can your city do?

Here’s an example, in Leoti, Kansas they start the day at 7 a.m. at the town flag pole.   At the public school the children pray over the police, the fire department, the Mayor, and city officials. At the public square  they read the Word of God andpray.   The night before there is a Youth Rally for Prayer.  A dinner, a speaker, and the youth pray.  One year they had the Rachels Dad from Columbine.

How about you?

Let’s begin to think about how you would like to impact the world around you.  What is the Lord calling you to do?

Prayer At The Kansas State Capitol

Prayer At The Kansas State Capitol

As the 2015 Kansas Legislative session begins Culture Shield would like to invite you to the State Capitol on a regular basis.  During the legislative session we will have continual prayer from 8am. – 5 pm. daily.  It’s a wonderful way to get acquainted with the process of making laws and pray for our leaders.  We want each decision being made to be covered with prayer.  Please go to the Capitol, Room 381 West and check in and you’ll find out who the leader is for the day.  Come for a morning or afternoon or even if you just have an hour.  You’ll be able to prayer in the Hearing Room, House and Senate Chambers rooms.

All prayer is appreciated as we lift up our State, Nation and Israel to the King of Kings.  We pray for wisdom, unity ad integrity of purpose and against any schemes of the enemy.

Prayer On The Hill

Let’s begin 2015 with expectation and look forward to see the faithfulness of the Lord.

Psalm 5:3 says, “Morning, by morning, oh Lord you hear my voice. Morning by morning, I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.

“What are you expecting this year?

God said, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you. Do not FEAR little flock for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.” Now, how to we apply that? He said, “Seek Him FIRST.” Culture Shields motto is Touch Heaven…Impact Earth. We believe it’s about prayer & action. How are you going to increase prayer? What action steps will you take to change the culture?

We invite you to come to Topeka on January 12th for Prayer on the Hill…a day of prayer to start the legislative session. Please join us as Governor Brownback will be sworn in at 10 a.m. and prayer walks will take place throughout the day.

Jesus is the LIGHT of the WORLD

The lights of this time of the year remind me that Jesus is the LIGHT of the WORLD.  In Him, there is no darkness at all. As we abide in Him, grow in intimacy with Him, we can’t let distractions diminish our time to sit at His feet.  He is available every day, every hour, every moment and Wise Men Still Seek Him….how wise are we American Christians?

Hebrews 11:6 says, . . .“He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Learning to sit before the Lord diligently seeking Him reminds of Mary when God’s word says, “She pondered these things in her heart.” The shepherds had just confirmed what the angels said to her when she heard she would bear a child, and what the angel said to Joseph when he changed his mind about divorcing Mary.  They confirmed what Elizabeth had said to Mary when she went to her and Elizabeth’s baby jumped in her womb just by hugging Mary upon her arrival.

During this week, take time to sit at His feet and just BE.
