No matter our age, the Lord will use us if we will be intentional in prayer. Caleb was 85 years old when he asked Joshua for the mountain with the largest giants, saying, “I went to this mountain 45 years ago and told Moses, I was not afraid. Now, give this mountain to me for I’m still strong.”  He conquered the giants and Hebron was his.

We have giants in our land….political correctness, homosexual marriage, abortion, immorality, etc. However, the Lord is with us and mighty to save.

He said, “Arise! For this matter is your responsibility, but we will be with you, be courageous and ACT.” Acts 18:9-11, “Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you…” Remember War Room, writing down your specific request in sticky notes and posting them where you pray?  Together we can see the glory of the Lord in our families and our nation.

The disciples, after observing the Lords devotion to prayer said, “Teach us to pray.” It seems everywhere the Body of Christ is awakening to its purposes here on earth. Here in Kansas, we have a potential prayer team in every neighborhood. These team needs to be activated for His glory and our protection.

Therefore, we are joining with neighborhoods all over the nation to launch “Adopt a Block – Adopt a Cop.”

ACTION STEP: Here is what you can do to begin “Adopt A Block – Adopt A Cop” in your neighborhood, city and church. Contact your local Police Department and ask for the name of the Officer or Officers assigned to your neighborhood. Please inform him or her that you are praying specifically for them.  Then pray in your neighborhhood. Walk, bike or simply drive in your car and pray for salvation for your neighbors, get to know them, start building relationships. Then begin praying for protection for your neighborhood and peace of Christ in their homes.

Brownback Is A Hit At Values Voters Summit


Last week Governor Sam Brownback was a featured speaker at the Values Voters Summit in Washington D.C. sponsored by the Family Research Council.I wanted to make sure you had an opportunity to hear this pivotal speech.  You will be so proud of our state when you hear the “good news” that for some reason escapes the media. You might ask, why was Governor Brownback invited to come and speak to thousands of conservatives in D.C.? When you watch his speech you’ll know why.  We’ve established dignity among the unemployed as over 6,000 that were on public assistance got a job in the last year. The state of Kansas is now paying for our high school students to attend a technical school during high school to learn a trade to avoid school loans in college and not have to work for minimum wage. Oh, don’t miss the end of this speech.  A rousing standing ovation makes you proud to be a Kansan.

Agenda 21

Sedgwick County passed “Sustainable Development” and “Agenda 21” recently.  They accepted 1.5 million grant in exchange for our freedoms.  What is this? In reality these two terms refer to a political agenda, rather than an objectively sustainable form of development. Specifically, it refers to an initiative of the United Nations called Sustainable Development Agenda 21. It is a comprehensive statement of a political ideology that is being progressively infused into every level of government in America.

Known around the world simply as Agenda 21, this initiative is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally, and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.

Agenda 21 was unveiled in 1992 during the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development. You might recognize some other names that are used instead of these…”comprehensive planning, “ growth management,” or “smart growth.” It will affect every area of life. Grants are acquired and words such as “visioning,” make it sound innocuous. Please look at the resource page and research for yourself and see where your county or state is participating.

Although August brings the thoughts of school starting, it’s not far from the anniversary of 9.11.  I’m the state director for “Cry Out America,” a group that encourages all Americans to gather at their local court house on 9.11 to follow through with our commitment to “Never Forget.” Now is the time for you to prayerfully consider answering the call to organize your county.  In Kansas there are 105 counties and we would love for you to please consider doing this.

Cry Out America is patriotic, traditional, and Biblical.  Calling our nation to pray on this memorial of the horrific day when America was attacked on her own soil is essential. In addition to the twin towers, we also will never forget Benghazi. The Lord Jesus detests hands that shed innocent blood.  Join this historic prayer movement – Every state, every county, every church, every heart.

Not only the Word of God, but Our Founding Fathers were pro-life. They covered the protection of the unborn in our Declaration of Independence.  When is the last time you read the Declaration?  You can read it in less than 5 minutes.  I’ve heard that Ted Cruz father had him read it everyday as youngster. 

It’s this part that I’m emphasizing today. “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

“For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.”

When we are completely His, we display strength and take action. 

Call your Senator today and ask them to completely defund Planned Parenthood.

We believe for revival of His church, the restoration of souls and the healing of our land to occur there must be an eruption and flow of His Spirit’s life-giving power.

Oulet density also can influence how drinkers congregate, making them more aggressive or encouraging others to drink. 

Examining 16 years’worth of data in Canada found that reducing off-premise density was significanly associated with a decease in alcohol consumption more than other social and economic factors

Suicide rates among boys between 15-19 years old have been shown to increase by up to 12 percent when alcohol outlets increase.

Areas with more alcohol outlets have been found to have higher rates of child abuse.

 Higher alcohol outlet densities leads to disproportionately concentrated in low-income racial or ethnic minority communities.
