Return to Me with all your heart : 7 / 14 / 14

When we look at the culture and question why are things so bad, we need to look no farther than to the Body of Christ.

Therefore, in accordance with God’s Word, we need to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and TURN for our evil ways.

Kansans will have an opportunity to do this as we join other states across the nation on 7/14/14. There will be a solemn assembly and day of fasting. Join with others in the body in the capitol city. Topeka at 7:14 a.m. on the north side of the capitol steps. We intend to cry out to the Lord for mercy.

It’s a day when you can come and go…at 8 a.m. we will enter the capitol.

We come to weep between the porch and the altar. Joel 2, “Return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping and mourning; Rend your heart and not your garments. Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger abounding in loving kindness and relenting of evil.

Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity in Topeka

In other cities where such measures have passed, people of deeply held religious beliefs have been hounded and persecuted. See:–222094901.html

Portland Oregon – Sweet Cakes by Melissa bakery closes store after being targeted for not supplying a wedding cake for a same-sex couple. Bakers Aaron & Melissa Klein respond:  “I hope that if nothing else, we’ve given people that believe the way we believe the strength to stand up,” said Aaron. “I believe that we’re living in a time that’s very hostile towards Christians. Our First Amendment rights are being stripped away and I’m willing to stand up and take this fight.”

Now is the time to act.

Please contact your council member promptly to request that Chad Manspeaker’s changes to add “Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity” as a protected class to the Topeka Human Rights Commission or City Code not be allowed. WIBW Channel 13 reported that this is to be proposed to the City Commission on Tuesday, September 10th with the vote on September 17th. Time is short!

Answer to Prayer to Break the Drought

If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain…if my people pray, turn, repent, …” 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

– Praying for Rain in Kansas. Last December 8th – Reign Down USA came to Topeka, Kansas. We were in a severe drought. Much prayer took place in preparation for this large gathering, in a tent in front of Cedar Crest.

For days before the event heavy dew fell over the land. We hadn’t seen rain or moisture for months. We sensed the Lord’s good pleasure at this gathering. Believers from all over Kansas came to cry out to the Lord for mercy. We repented, our Governor repented, we asked the Lord for an open heaven and we got it. All the way home back to Wichita a heavy mist and gentle rain fell. There has been much answered prayer since then in Kansas including the drought being broken. Jeremiah 33:3, “ Call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.”

Men of God taking their places in Kansas

“He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse.” Malachi 4:6
In Kansas, the men of God are on the wall, if you would like to see a Sons of Thunder group in your community go to

You’ll really enjoy the message by Dennis Cecil. Scroll down on the Sons of Thunder website to see the video.

Call the number on the website and talk to my friend Cary Binney.

Also Governor Brownback’s good friend Lonnie Berger has written a great book that many men are studying: Every Man a Warrior. Lonnie is a disciple maker and the Lord will not trust us with a Great Awakening unless we are ready to make disciples.

September 11th – We will never forget!

It wasn’t American Pride that spoke that day for those of us who love Our Lord.  We knew that repentance was the only place to turn.  It was a day of terror that called His people back to Him. We’ve studied the outcome by reading Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s book “The Harbinger.”  We know that our nation must go back to our foundation and realize also that our constitution was never meant to be implemented by anyone except God’s people, Christians;  Please go to this website to see this tribute to America about 9/11.

Constitution Week in American Schools – Sept. 17-23

Sept. 17-23 is Constitution week. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Psalm 33:12- Sept. 17, 1787, our constitution was signed into law. Federal law requires that all schools study the constitution on that day.

Constitution Day (or Citizenship Day) is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is observed on September 17, the day the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in 1787.[2]
The law establishing the present holiday was created in 2004 with the passage of an amendment by Senator Robert Byrd to the Omnibus spending bill of 2004.[3] Before this law was enacted, the holiday was known as “Citizenship Day”. In addition to renaming the holiday “Constitution Day and Citizenship Day,” the act mandates that all publicly funded educational institutions provide educational programming on the history of the American Constitution on that day.[4] In May 2005, the United States Department of Education announced the enactment of this law and that it would apply to any school receiving federal funds of any kind.[5] This holiday is not observed by granting time off work for federal employees.
When Constitution Day falls on a weekend or on another holiday, schools and other institutions observe the holiday on an adjacent weekday.[5] This was the case in 2005 and 2011, when Constitution Day was generally observed on Friday, September 16[3] and 2006 when the holiday was observed on Monday, September 18.
Universities and colleges nationwide have created “U.S. Constitution and Citizenship Weeks” in order to meet the requirements of the law
